I’ve got my final project online from my quality of light class I took last semester at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. I did 9.3″ x 15″ prints on 13″x19″ paper. I think they came out pretty well!

December 29, 2005Movable Type woes..
December 28, 2005I tried upgrading to Movable Type 3.2 earlier from 3.16 and some of my data got screwed up (trackback stuff it seems). I’ve imported all my data back and things seem to be up and running OK, but we’ll have to see how things go.
Their import/export stuff kind of sucks. I wasn’t able to import all my data without first removing the spam trackbacks from the export file manually. Thanks goes out to timeless for some regex help. It also doesn’t bother to note things like if a comment user was a typekey user or some other minor things which kind of bugs me. Guess I’ll get over it.
I need to redo my templates and such. I’d like to get them back to how I had them a long time ago or go in some new direction… need to find more free time.
[update: 6:46AM Eastern -- After a few more reinstalls, a migration to SQLite, plugin installations, and some category reorganizations, I think everything is back up and working much better than it ever was before. zzz.]
Xbox 360
December 28, 2005mmm.
Got my Xbox 360 on the 23rd. Got lucky and caught walmart.com selling one of their bundles early on the 21st. I suggest checking out xbox360tracker.com if you’re looking for one and having no luck. I managed to order a second one for vlad from CircuitCity (they have bundleless consoles!) as well, so they’re certainly becoming available if you look at the right time.
