March 30, 2003I got some Paradigm Monitor series speakers:
Front: Monitor 9
Center: Monitor CC-370
Rear: Monitor ADP-370
Sub: PS1000 (specs) PW2200 (specs)
I also picked up a Marantz SR8200 receiver to go along with the system.
The speakers sound amazing. Unfortunately they weren’t all in stock, so I have to wait about two weeks before I get to enjoy them at home.
Home Theater
March 30, 2003I’m going to look at home theater systems today with Dave. I’m currently looking at a few Denon receivers (4802[R] and 3803) and some Paradigm speakers. It really is insane how expensive some of this stuff can be. Hopefully I can get a nice setup without going too overboard. I think after I get all of this stuff, I’ll have to replace my old Sony 36″ WEGA XBR with a new one that supports HD.

March 29, 2003Have you heard this song? A group named TATU sings it. They’re these two Russian lesbian teenagers. For some crazy reason they’re getting air play now and everytime I hear it it gets stuck in my head for at least 2 days. MAKE IT STOP!

March 28, 2003I’m so glad it is Friday. This week has been very busy and stressful. I’ve gotten up before 9am every morning this week, and for those that know me, that’s real early. I’m nearly 3 weeks behind on TV shows on my TiVos. Hopefully I can do some catching up this weekend.
Zelda’s Back
March 26, 2003The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is now out. I haven’t picked it up yet, but it has gotten good reviews. I’m with the people who think it looks a bit odd, but I’m a huge fan of all Zelda games (except for Majora’s Mask).
Has anyone played it? If so, let me know what you think.

The protesters thought that pissing people off would keep the war from happening? Now they think it will cause the war to end? Give me a break. Stop blocking traffic, rioting, and wasting my time.
