November 25, 2002I was playing a little Dark Age of Camelot tonight and got my Warden, Xul, up to level 37. I also joined Ciorcal Lochtach since that’s where most of my old friends are now.
The DAoC expansion, Shrouded Isles, comes out next week. Screenshots from the new graphics engine look quite nice. Can’t wait to get this.
Cool sites
November 21, 2002Earlier today I was randomly clicking on links on weblogs.com and ran across some sites with some amazing layouts. These sites are so different than all the sites you see on the net today and are inspiring to me. It is refreshing to see sites that don’t all look the same. Some of my favorite were this, this and this.

November 18, 2002According to this article the new WB show Birds of Prey has been canceled. That was pretty short lived for a WB drama. I wish they would cancel the far worse Dawson’s Creek.

New on DVD
November 17, 2002South Park Season 1 on DVD. Looks like fun. Apparently you can mail in the DVD’s proof of purchase and get the 5 CD director’s commentary that wasn’t included with the DVDs.
There is some new version with extended scenes of The Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring. The new version apparently doesn’t contain the theatrical release, so you’d need to be the old version as well if you wanted that. How many DVDs are they going to release for this? By the time all movies are out will I be able to purchase a giant set of all 90 DVDs or should I buy each version now?

November 16, 2002You can now access my blog using klipfolio from here. It is a small RSS/RDF feed reader for windows similar to Feedreader. klipinfo also uses the Mozilla SpiderMonkey JS engine.
Toe Jam & Earl III
November 15, 2002I recently got Toe Jam & Earl III. This game is great. I absolutely loved playing the first one, and this one is just as good if not better. It also supports downloading of new levels and characters with Xbox Live which came out today. I haven’t picked up the Xbox Live Starter Kit yet, but I probably will once a few more games come out that take advantage of it.
Firefly
November 15, 2002Firefly is really starting to shape up. Joss Whedon’s new show has improved tremendously since the first episode. If you stopped watching it after the awful first episode, I highly recommend you check it out again.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
November 15, 2002I’m very excited that Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets came out today! Unfortunatly, I’m still not feeling well and won’t get to see it today. I really hope that I get to see it this weekend.
