I just successfully flew my first flight in Flight Simulator 2002 from Chicago (KORD) to Ottawa (CYOW) in an Air Canada Airbus A330-300. I was able to land it, with Ben’s help, on the run way, in the center, on my 5th try.
Unfortunately, I was also trying to fix an annoying bug while my plane flew on auto pilot so I didn’t get to pay enough attention to the graphics and the landscape.

I just returned from a They Might Be Giants concert with David Hyatt, Brendan Eich, and Tom Eich. The concert was great. There was a lot of music from the new album, No!, as well as plenty of good oldies like Don’t Let’s Start and Birdhouse In Your Soul.
I picked up two shirts and a new CD of “rare” songs titled They Got Lost.

Who in the world would interview Gerv about Mozilla things? I would rather read an interview with one of Ben’s sheep.

I worked from home today so that I would be here when UPS attempted to deliver two packages I have been waiting for. One contained some CDs I ordered from Canada, including a David Usher album and some Moist albums. The other contained my tickets for the Wednesday They Might Be Giants concert in San Francisco at the Fillmore.
A little after 6:00pm, they finally arrive with my packages. I’ve always received packages from UPS between 11am and 2pm. Seems like they could have shown up a bit sooner.
Now I’m hungry. I must eat.

David just signed on to AIM at his new job.
<stuart> did they fire you yet?
<david> no, but i’m sure it’s just a matter of time
I figure Apple will fire him within the next two weeks after he starts 8 new projects and abandons 7 of them.

So as you have probably heard by now, AOL finally rid itself of random-project-starter David Hyatt. He has taken a job at some fruit company called Apple where he is supposed to start today. He is supposed to arrive at 8:30am, but I have my doubts that he will actually make it there on time since he usually came in to work around noon at Netscape.

I’ve begun the process of re-ripping all of my CDs to MP3s in preparation for purchasing an iPod. Unfortunately, I have around 130 CDs I want to rip and I’ve only got about 25 of them ripped so far. I’m using CDEX to rip at 192Kbps at high quality.
